Yesterday I gave my grandfather’s eulogy; at the exact moment that I was getting up to do so, my agent was calling to let me know about Little Brown’s offer. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful way to end the day, and I know Papa would have been so, so proud and happy for me.
I’m a little overwhelmed and still somewhat dazed at how fortunate I am, to have houses like Little Brown and Harper Collins publishing my books with such enthusiam. I feel a little like I’m living in a Lifetime movie or something. Shall I cue the sappy music and questionable hairstyles?

if i lived in ga, i’d buy you three boxes of pudding pops. 1 for condolences (losing a grandparent is so hard), 1 for big huge congratulations (selling your books is so exciting!!), and a third just for being awesome.

So my favourite one is sisters red ! It is AMAZING . I read it in 2 days .
I am inspired , for me it felt like if I I was there . At the beginging I wanted to know what Silas was thinking but I am happy u diden’t cose it would of over sold the holl story . I can’t believe you wrote that book !
Anyway , I would love it if you could maybe tell me about you’re next book or how u had the idea of all the books you wrote . I am only eleven but I think it is AMAZING !
