Cover Reveal(s)!

So, if you come to liveshows, you’ve heard me say that cover changes are coming.
If you don’t come to liveshows…what’s wrong with you?
Anyhow, the long and short of it is that SISTERS RED and SWEETLY are getting new paperback covers to match FATHOMLESS’s hardback cover. There are a lot of reasons publishers change the covers of an already-published book: to revive the series, to reach a new audience, to market toward a specific crowd, etc. Which, if you ask me, are pretty damn good reasons.
BUT…I will be the first to admit, I was a little wary. I LOVE the original SISTERS RED and SWEETLY covers. And I was a little sad that there wouldn’t be a matching FATHOMLESS cover. So when the final covers for SWEETLY and FATHOMLESS came in the other day, I had my fingers crossed and was wishing and praying and hoping and–
AHHHHHHH THEY’RE SO GOOD I JUST CAN’T EVEN
(I don’t have the new SISTERS RED cover yet, but based on the fact that I want to eat these, I imagine it’ll be pretty fantastic.)
Only the paperbacks of SWEETLY and SISTERS RED are changing– I believe you’ll still be able to order the hardback with the original covers if you want. The new covers will be available in August!
I love them both and can’t wait for the Sisters Red cover!

Oh, I love the originals so much! I’m not sure how I feel about the new one for Sweetly. The original was just so eerily beautiful!
I can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with for Sisters Red. The original cover was awesome!
With that being said, I do like the Fathomless cover! Wooo!!!!

I’m sorry to say that but I hate the new covers. They are pretty but I loooove the original covers and it makes me super sad that I will never have a matching cover of Fathomless.
While the new covers aren’t bad at all (I quite like the fathomless one a lot) they are a lot more run of the mill. The original Sisters Red and Sweetly cover was like nothing I had ever seen before. I was so intrigued by the Sisters Red cover that I bought it then discovered your youtube and blog. These ones are just more, usual.
i don’t know if i like the new Sweetly cover… it just doesn’t describe it as much as the original cover did. i really like the Fathomless cover, though. i’m disappointed that there was no design that followed Sweetly and Sisters Red’s covers for Fathomless… i was really excited to see it ):
The new Sweetly cover is SO. PRETTY! Love them both.
c’mon, admirt it, the ONLY reason you love those covers is because they are FREAKING SPECTACULAR!

That makes me so sad
The illustrated covers are so original and gorgeous. I can’t believe there won’t be a special Fathomless cover with a secret image like the face in the trees in Sweetly. Is there any way such a cover could be made? Maybe by the UK publisher? Or just for fun and you can order the jacket to redress your Fathomless cover? 
The new covers aren’t ugly or anything but compared to the first ones they’re bleak and very mainstream.
I love the original Sisters Red and Sweetly covers, but these new ones are pretty awesome! =D I’m a little sad that I already have Sisters Red and Sweetly in hardback and they won’t match the Fathomless cover. But I’ll survive…plus I really like the Fathomless cover. Can’t wait for that book to come out!
They look fantastic!! I really did love the original Sisters Red and Sweetly covers, but a change is as good as a holiday or so they say. Can’t wait to see how Sisters Red looks after its makeover.
I must admit, I was afraid the repackaged covers would be your stereotypical, photo of a flawless girl in a dress cover, but I was wrong! While I ADORE the illustrated covers of SR and Sweetly, I understand that repackaging happens to attract another audience and these surpassed my expectations. Very pretty! (I must say, though, I’m a liiiiitle disappointed that Fathomless will never have an illustrated cover matching the other two fairy tale retellings.)
Somehow, that is exactly how I imagined the Fathomless cover!

The Fathomless cover is so beautiful… but I’m sad it won’t match my copy of Sisters Red and Sweetly.

Although these covers are stunning, I was really looking forward to seeing “Fathomless” match your original covers of “Sisters Red” and “Sweetly”.

The Sweetly one is gorgeous and, oh my god, the Fathomless one is even better! Beautiful! Marvellous! All the positive words with a many accompanying exclamation marks!!!!
I can’t wait to see what the new cover for Sisters Red looks like. Which reminds me, I owe you pictures of Sisters Red in front of various iconic New Zealand things. How to get my hands on a kiwi, that is the question…

Glad you like them but sadly, if I saw these in the store based on cover alone I’d pass. I bought Sisters Red solely on the cover when I saw it so luckily now, if I see your name I’d of course read the blurb. But the new covers aren’t as epic as Sisters Red and Sweetly hardcover. I actually think they look like self-pub covers.
